Size Attributes
Size of your fonts will vary across browsers and operating systems. The best approach is to preview your site in the three browsers (Internet Explorer, Netscape and AOL) on both Windows and Macintosh operating systems. (To be very accurate you would see your page in the different versions of each browser.) Your visitors can always override your font size settings (and other font settings) by setting their browser preferences.

Creating font size for your pages can be accomplished by:

• letting the browser set your font size
• setting a base font size (pg.47)
• using individual font setting tags
• using internal or external style sheets
• combining all of the above

Comments
It is sometimes helpful to put markers or comments into your pages. These may be reminders to you or other developers or delimiters which separate the parts of your page code. You do not want these to be visible on the face of the document. You can insert these hidden comments into your Web pages by using: <!-- here is the comment -->
