GDT 239 Imaging & Illustration

Evaluation:

Throughout the semester you will submit copies of completed exercises, projects, thumbnails, design rationale and when requested a copy of your electronic files for evaluation.

Grades will be based on attendance (10%), exercises (10%), class participation (20%), and projects (60%).

If you wish to drop this class, or change from credit to audit, please discuss with instructor first.

The instructor reserves the right to assign one of the following grades to students who stop attending without dropping: F, N, or W.

Attendance:

Students are to attend class regularly. Lectures and demonstrations will be most successful and beneficial with full attendance and class participation. Be advised that poor attendance will affect your performance and your final grade. More than three unexcused absences will result in lowering of the semester grade.

If you are unable to attend class or hand in a project on time please leave word at my office prior to class by email: kwilli@wccnet.org, calling 734-677-5213. Advance notice of unavoidable absence is required to make up any work due on a missed class day.

Where demonstrations and in-class exercises are designed to reinforce material covered, research and effort outside of class may be necessary for the student to complete assignments.

Late projects will be down graded and not accepted after one week past deadline date.

Your energy, enthusiasm and contributions to the class are appreciated.
