Constructed and maintained lease ownership maps and plats for the Company
and competition. Utilized computer to audit, update and analyze lease
data. Assisted in generating new leads and prospects. Facilitated workflow
with the Exploration Department. Created and organized the development
of a variety of maps, seismic line plots, charts, graphs, promotional
books, overheads and 35mm slides.
Accomplishments
Most recent is the creation of a series of nine maps
for exclusive use by corporate attorneys in a legal presentation in Washington
D.C. regarding the recent merger of DTE Energy and MCN. The maps contain
illustrations showing utility and non?utility power generation by operator
and capacity, storage fields and pipelines by operator and volume and
the electric grid with 120kV and above. Constructed and maintained proposed
Washington 10 Storage Field base map illustrating land, wells, proposed
directional wells, well pads, isopach, pipelines and compressor station.
This is a primary map used by MCN Engineering, Geology, and Field personnel.
Coordinated the creation of the Washington 10 Storage Field book, designed
the book cover, created maps and exhibits for inclusion in the book. Coordinated
and contributed to the creation of the Michigan Gas Transmission System
Map. Instrumental in facilitating the joint venture with MCN and Michigan
Oil and Gas News for publishing and marketing the map. The map is now
available for purchase through Michigan Oil and Gas News. Recently proposed
the reintroduction of this map, recreated in Adobe Illustrator 8.0. The
proposal was accepted unanimously and reproduction of the new version
of the map is in progress. Organized and coordinated the development of
the map used in the Antrim Project. The map depicts pipelines, receipt
points, well locations, and unitized areas by operators. Instrumental
in the facilitation of a joint venture with Maness Petroleum to publish
and market the "Antrim Map".
