Transparent Gifs (in Photoshop
5.5)
- convert to indexed color
- select color to be made transparent
- inverse selection
- save selection (channel)
- export as 89a gif
- choose alpha channel
- save
If necessary magnify and eliminate fringe. (Sometimes reducing
colors will help eliminate fringe.)
